COVID- 19 Update
Whilst in the clinic we’d like to think of 2019
as the year the twins were born, we know in
history it will be remembered for the Coronavirus.
With so much uncertainty you may be wondering what this means
for your appointment? Yes, we are still open. We take your health
(and that of the community) seriously.
At the clinic we are taking extra infection control and hygiene measures as well as ensuring appropriate social distancing withing the clinic in regards to our waiting room, if you prefer to wait in your cars- we are happy to come get you for your appointment. Thankully with our large treatment rooms- this means we are able to continue providing you with our top level of care.
Whilst many of us otherwise healthy individuals- contracting COVID-19- might merely cause us to suffer annoying cold like symptoms. However not all of us are young and healthy... so this is more about the toll on the community rather than everyone’s individual experience. Because the virus is spreading so rapidly- let’s take appropriate steps to reduce its rate of spread and overwhelming our (already struggling) healthcare system. We need to flatten the curve.
There’s no better time to look after yourselves- wash your hands properly, eat well, take those extra vitamins, if you’re sick stay home and get a good sleep. Let’s hope proper hygiene might even make for a better flu season!
We ask at this time that if you are experiencing flu like symptoms (fever, tiredness, sore throat) and have travelled overseas or been in contact with someone who has in the last 14 day to please seek appropriate care and reschedule your appointment. If you have been asked to self isolate- please do because the sooner we do this, the sooner we can all relax, coronavirus free. If you are unsure about anything- please give us a call.
*note* twin love- I think these two would even fight over who got the virus first 🙄and social distancing with 8 month old twins...not even possible.
